We learned new tools and resources: so I actually was looking for a program that could edit videos and audio by separate and my teacher found this which is really cool. https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html

We also had a guest speaker called Maha Bali. Here is the video:

So actually I have disease called “purpura”, which is a type of disease that could return any time. I live with the fear of it returning. If you want to know more about it here is a link: https://medlineplus.gov/spanish/ency/article/000425.htm, but in this blogpost I’m gnna tell you my experience.

I got the disease from the reaction of a vaccine and a spider bite.

It’s a rare disease, when I got it and didn’t know what it was I went to spider specialist so that they could identify what type of spider had bitten me and how to treat it. I got negative responces from the 3 specialist I went to saying that it was magnificent since my legs were cover with purple stars. I was in pain and all they wanted was for to stay in their office so that they could investigate more. My parents got angry everytime since I was suffering.

Each step I took felt like walking in needles, my legs touching felt like someone was hitting me with its fist. My parents carried me sometimes and it felt as if they were punching me each time they moved. It was already late and I had been suffering all day so we decided to go to the hospital. The first hospital we went to took blood samples, I felt as if they were amputating my leg without anesthesia, it was horrible. It already passed night time and they didn’t know what I had.

So we waited and waited. It was already evening. We decided to call my uncle which is a medic so that he could have me as a priority. Cool thing was that he had photographic memory and found the disease I had inmediatly , bad thing the treatment wasn’t very good for me they had to give me medicine, which meant more suffering. My experience was horribe, I was kept in a hospital for a long time with them taking blood samples each day as if I was a guinea pig.

Today, Monday 26, 2016 we had a guest speaker Dave Cormier. We talked to him via Skype to learn about our digital identity.

So in other words what he says is:

  • You need to show the kindest part of yourself.
  • You need to be able to defend what you say on the internet
  • It has to be something you like
  • Don’t post anything hateful
