Sounds good Ken … Yep! Schedules are all over the place this time of the school year. I will be in Washington DC from December 11th through the 23rd. I will be back in the saddle at home on the 24th. I will have Internet access in DC, so I could do chat session from the nation’s capital if you think that might add some excitement and intrigue. Maybe the Obamas would be willing to join me.

I once participated in an IATEFL online course for English as a second/foreign language teachers where using controversial topics to illicit conversation was presented as an effective technique for getting students to express themselves. The main aim is noticing and developing conversation skill to express opinions, agree/disagree, and to interrupt politely during a group panel discussion.
