Mastery 09 – Basic type and their use in Python<\/strong><\/p>\n

Python has 6 different basic types of data. They are:<\/p>\n

1. Integers
   \n<\/strong>These are numbers that belong to all the real numbers.
   \n<\/li>\n
2. Floating point numbers
   \n<\/strong>These are all the real numbers that use decimals.
   \n<\/li>\n
3. Strings
   \n<\/strong>These are a set of letters, numbers or any other character. They are inbetween quotation marks (“”).
   \n<\/li>\n
4. Tuples
   \n<\/strong>This is an ordered set of\u00a0 values with fixed number of elements, goes inbetween parentheses.\n<\/li>\n
5. Lists
   \n<\/strong>This is an ordered set of values without fixed number of elements, goes inbetween brackets.<\/li>\n
6. Dictionaries
   \n<\/strong>This is a type with different elements, used to map keys to their assigned values. They keys and values can be of any type.
