A string is a series of characters treated as a single unit. A string may include letters, digits and various special characters written in double quotation marks: “Aurora Alvarado”<\/p>\n

Strings are like arrays, because an array name is also a constant pointer to its first element. <\/p>\n

A string can be stored in an array using steam extraction with cin:<\/p>\n

cin >> word;<\/strong><\/p>\n

The string entered by the user is stored in word. <\/p>\n
