Temperature :D

I made the code for a program that asks you for the temperature in fahrenheit and then gives it back in celcius, it was actualy fun doing it, and the most important thing I learned from it that was you can’t use = in inequalities. Thanks a lot to our magical book:

How to think like a computer scientist by Allen B. Downey

$WSQ05-Temperature

This WSQ 05 was a piece of cake for me. I searched on google the boiling point of water. Here is my code: Here is the code run in Cygwin: Programming in Python is getting easier for me, I think this is due to practice. It is like gym if you only go once to […]

WSQ05-Temperature

This assignment was to write a program that asks the user for a temperature in Fahrenheit and then converts it to Celsius. Then it determines if water freezes, boils or stays a liquid at said temperature. The new things I used was the while loop and the conditional statements if, elif and else. A while loop […]

I knew how to do this one because I took remedial class

From Fahrenheit to Celsius

What helped me to do this was the activity “Fun with numbers”, because it was like the same. Also: http://aprendecpp.com/blog/estructuras-condicionales-if-else-en-c.html in the parte of the conditional. My code is: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main () { float C; float… Continue Reading →

#WSQ05 – HOMEWORK – A01631728

I just finish this homework, I think this one was a harder one because I didn’t knew how to put decimals, but at the end I just found that I need to use float. I have some errors but at the end I solve them 🙂 Github code: https://github.com/luisduartepalacios/WSQ05/blob/master/WSQ05.cpp

WSQ05

Hi guys! Here is my WSQ05 homework, (I’m so nerdy because I only post homework in this blog), but I feel good, because the only thing that I want is to pass my class, well, and learn something cool. Hahahaha, just kidding! I felt really proud of myself when I compiled and ran the program […]

This activity was much easier than the last one, because know I understood how to use variables and values combined with functions.

In this activity, I based myself in the previous programming…

In this activity, I based myself in the previous programming activity. I just used parentheses and combined the operations to make the conversion to Celsius. The only new thing was the “if” command, so I had to go to the book to re read chapters 2 and 3. Then, I didn’t have any trouble with anything.

#WSQ05 Temperature

Hi again everybody! This post is about another easy c++ task you can do with the basic operators you have used before. The program has to convert from fahrenheit degrees to celsius, and tell you if water boils or not… Continue Reading →

What should you work on?

Week #12 and more partial exams for you.

For this week's readings:
C++ (TC1017) should either be looking at support for your project, ImageMagick C++ libraries are a good start.
Python (TC1014) should be finishing chapter 11 (Dictionaries).
