The traditional studying model hasn’t significantly changed for centuries. Tecnologies and a better understanding of the individual human learning process has lead minor changes to take place. Flipped learning is a good step forward to the evolution of the studying models. The responsibility of learning is more laid on the students and demands different abilities from the teacher, in some way this is encouraging and helps each student to develop accordingly to their individual needs.
In my opinion it is a change worth applying, but as any new change, it should be carefully planned and gradually implemented to attain a succesful result.
I found this document that proved to be quite interesting if you want to understand flipped learning better.
