Ken, my teacher during iWeek, explained what Digital Identity is, a permanent information each one of us put in the internet. Also the digital identity we have, may not be who you really are.
We had a chance to talk with Dave Cormier, who is a educational researcher on the impact of technology on the future of education, and started explainig what he did for a living; how he started blogging; what problems he have had with his information on the internet; how everyday lots of people steal our Digital Identity and ways to reduce the risks of being hacked.
We also watched a video where you can create a new profile by using a website, that makes it pretty convincing. Big Data can be used to make predictions. Today Personal data is really important, its collected in Big Data Banks and will always be there.
Anyway, most of us think we know how to control our information on the internet, but I think we are absolutely wrong.
