DAY I Ernesto at #iTecGDA

Hello!

Today, we had an online session with Dave Cormier (Twitter @davecormier), professor at UPEI, up in Canada’s east coast. We talked about digital identity security, and we had the opportunity to ask him questions. He is a nice and funny guy.

He mentioned a lot about how our ways of life become each and everyday more dependent on the Internet, from our social interactions to the way we pay our taxes. Something really interesting that he mentioned was that the Internet is not a transitional technology, like CDs and USB converters, it is here to stay.

We also had to write about ourselves, who we are, what we like and stuff like that. It´s always a good idea to reflect on who we are, at least once in a while.

You can check the session here. I actually had a question for Dave.

So far so good.

How many lifes do we have? Should we control our digital life?

Cheers to UPEI from the other side of the continent…
