During this semester one of the classes I enjoyed the most was my fundamentos de programación with Ken Bauer.

It was a totally new experience for me and I’m really glad I had the chance to experience it.

Defying all the regular teaching protocols in which the teacher just burst out lots of information during the class and you write down everything the teacher said without even understanding it, Ken is not like this.

So you may be wondering: How does he teaches you then?

The answer here is: he doesn’t. But don’t get the wrong idea, he doesn’t teach you because he encourages you to learn by yourself.

This was better for me in the sense that I could dedicate my time for this subject when it was convenient for my schedule and I didn’t have to deal with slow learning of fast learning, I could just learn at my pace.

By writting blogs about what I have learned, I felt like the learning proces was accelerated because if I wanted to teach others about the subject, I needed to understand completely the subject first.

I recomend anyone to have at least one course with Ken to have this amazing experience and to realize that you can learn by yourself and teach others at the same time.
