In this post I will talk about “if” conditional. First of all, we must remember this conditional is the same as common English.When it is a friend’s of yours birthday and you haven’t seen him in a long time, so you phone him and say “Hey let’s hang out, let’s invite our friends from high school” and he says “Yeah, sure!”
Then you all go to have dinner, to have some drinks, then you realize it’s getting late and you have to work next day at morning so you propose to your friends “Hey let’s pay”. So you all agree to divide the check so you should pay $200 pesos. But then you all realize you are not leaving any tip and the waitress will be mad at you so you agree that $220 is great, then…
And that’s mainly how this conditional works.
